Con-Cor history
Founded in 1962 as a part-time venture, Con-Cor introduced its first kit: a wood and metal HO-scale craftsman model of the General American Airslide covered hopper.
Over the years, the company has grown significantly and now boasts one of the most extensive N-scale product lines in the world. In addition to its N-scale offerings, Con-Cor continues to expand its HO-scale lineup. Its diverse catalog includes passenger and freight cars, locomotives, tractor-trailers, tracks, plastic structure kits, and accessories in both HO and N scales.
Con-Cor operates a manufacturing plant and warehouse in Tucson, Arizona, where 20% of its products are currently produced. While 80% of its products are sourced from subcontractors in China, the company launched a "Re-Shoring" initiative in 2014 to shift more production back to the United States.
